Policies at Bay 4 Studio
Bay 4 Studio is a professional recording fascility and should be treated as such. There is a strict policy of NO ILLEAGAL SUBSTANCE USE at any time, and if YOU BREAK IT, YOU BUY IT. It is also required that there be a 48 hour cancellation notice, or you will be charged the minimum 1 hour fee. Billable time starts when you book the time and ends when you are finished. There is a minimum of one hour charged for all recording. If you take thirty minutes to lay down your part it will still be billed as one hour. After the first hour, your time is billed in half-hour increments. Whether your time at the studio is spent recording, or “practicing”, it still costs the same. To be efficient with your studio time, come with your songs ready to be tracked. Being prepared for the studio means, deciding in advance what songs you want to record, and make sure you have all the right instruments or any other production elements that you want in the songs. In most cases, it's good recording protocol to inform us of any special needs that you may require in advance.
